About Us

The Association for Solidarity with Asylum Seekers and Migrants (ASAM), established in 1995 in Ankara as an independent, impartial and non-profit association to assist refugees and asylum seekers living in Turkey, currently operates with over 1.700 staff members in 83 offices across 47 provinces. ASAM, which opened its Representative Office in Athens in 2016 and in Brussels in 2019, is the first association in Turkey having the concept of “asylum seeker” in its name!

About Project

The “Project on Enhanced Support to Asylum Seekers Affected by the Syrian and Iraqi Crisis in Turkey”, funded by the European Union, is implemented with the purpose of developing the admittance, integration and protection mechanisms of asylum seekers in Turkey having been affected by the Iraqi and Syrian crises. In scope of the project, services are provided by the Yalova and Karabük Sustainable Living Centers and ASAM Kırıkkale Field Office. tarafından finanse edilen “Türkiye’de Yaşayan Irak ve Suriye Krizlerinden Etkilenmiş Sığınmacılara Yönelik Geliştirilmiş Destek Projesi”, Türkiye’deki, Irak ve Suriye krizlerinden etkilenen sığınmacıların kabulü, uyumu ve korunması süreçlerinin geliştirilmesi amacıyla gerçekleştirilmektedir.

Proje kapsamında hizmetler, Yalova ve Karabük’te Sürdürülebilir Yaşam Merkezleri ve SGDD Kırıkkale Saha Ofisi tarafından sağlanmaktadır.
